Bringing Competitive Gaming to Every Corner of the Maldives

Dhiraagu has launched the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Conquest Qualifiers with free registration, opening the pathway to the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) – one of the biggest esports competitions ever held in the Maldives. Players from all regions of the country are invited to participate, with registration open through April 10, 2025.

The Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG) has designed this nationwide tournament to be accessible to all Maldivian gamers, regardless of location. The online format ensures that gamers from every island can showcase their skills and compete for recognition on the national stage.

The Mobile Legends qualifier will advance eight top-performing teams to the DMGC Online Playoffs. Competitors will battle for a substantial MVR 15,000 prize pool, with MVR 7,000 awarded to the champion team, MVR 5,000 to the runner-up, and MVR 3,000 for third place.

The qualifier represents the first step toward DMGC, which will be the largest gaming competition in Maldivian history. The main DMGC event is scheduled to take place later this year, bringing together the nation's top gaming talent across multiple game titles. Through this initiative, Dhiraagu Gamers Guild is creating unprecedented opportunities for gamers across the country to participate in professional-level competition.

The tournament is designed to test teams through increasingly challenging stages, providing an exciting experience for both participants and spectators while maintaining competitive fairness. This approach ensures that advancing teams demonstrate both skill and consistency throughout the competition.

DMGC stands as the most ambitious gaming event ever undertaken in the Maldives, featuring four major game titles: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, and FC 25. This diverse selection ensures that competitors with different gaming preferences and skills can participate in the championship. More information about tournaments for each game will be announced soon on dgg.mv.

Teams can register for free through dgg.mv until April 10, 2025 (23:59 HRS).
